For this project, we were instructed to find a mainstream narrative we disagreed with and let our classmates flip the narrative by blacking out parts of the text to leave a poem with a fresh perspective. I chose an article from Daily Mail from the early 2000's to flip the narrative of diet culture, celebrity culture, etc. I made each letter and border out of thumbprints, and chose the center spread from one of the poems a classmate made with my article.
